The Artist Plate Project saw 40 artists contribute designs to raise money for The Coalition for the Homeless in 2021 with each plate being produced in an edition of 175.
Basketballs, ceramics, and lush plants fill Jonas Wood’s paintings, drawings, and prints, which mostly comprise intricate still lifes and interior domestic scenes. Throughout his compositions, the artist draws from art history, memory, and the people, objects, and interiors that compose the fabric of his life. Wood’s plate design – one of his botanical drawings – is called Clipping Plate, 2021.
