After creating the design-led boutique hotel experience in the US with Studio 54 founder Ian Schrager, French designer Philippe Starck's went on to design the the SLS Hotel at Beverly Hills. An even more amped up version of Starck's soup of high design, scale shifts, and the banal, the SLS Bevery Hills was the blueprint for future SLS hotels. Found in each room, these these generic white plastic bottles printed with photo illustrians of elaborate cut crystal decanters of each product are perfect souvenirs of his approach.
