Philippe Starck's "Strangeness" vase, a horn-shaped vessel for holding flowers, is at once modern and archaic. It is also emblematic of Starck’s work of the time, especially in the interior of New York’s Royalton Hotel. A version of this vase is in the collections of both MoMA and The Metropolitan Museum of Art.
