GIOTTO was a short-lived company founded by Ettore Sottsass with the intention of mass-producing Italian design in Asia. The Bread Dish was the smallest of 3 sizes of this design by Michele De Lucchi, a founding partner of Memphis. These bowls were meant to go into production, but the company folded before that, with only 10 pieces of each size being produced.
