The IKEA Art Event 2021 collection included this clock by contemporary American artist [and former DIOR collaborator] Daniel Arsham. Both the clock that appears to be flying through time and the white sheet that shrouds it are images that reoccur in Arsham’s work, here a reference to the unstoppable passage of time. Even at a price that reflects its sold-out status and collectability – it sold for $45 at IKEA – the clock is a bargain compared to even his self-released editions priced in the many thousands.
