One of the Halstonettes in 1970s New York, Elsa Peretti began making jewelry for a handful of fashion designers including Halston and Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo. Peretti signed a contract with Tiffany & Co. in 1974 and continues to be a featured designer until her death in March, 2021. Her pieces incorporate organic forms, have an appreciation of the human body, and bridge the gap between costume and serious jewelry. Along with jewelry, Peretti created many tabletop designs for Tiffany, including these stone-shaped crystal candleholders, no longer in production. Each is a unique, though similar, shape.
