This exhibition catalogue published in conjunction with the 2006 Fondazione Prada show includes essays by Germano Celant and Malcolm Gladwell, and a lengthy interview between Celant and Sachs. This lavish monograph charts Sach's career from his beginnings as an apprentice to master woodworkers in Frank Gehry's studio through his polarizing window display at Barney's (Hello Kitty Nativity, 1994) to the present. Full-bleed images give ample room to soak in both his well-known, working replicas of objects like rifles made from Prada hat boxes and self-engineered tools to more obscure pieces that may have been short on media sensation but not on craft.
