Tapio Wirkkala worked with Rosenthal AG in Germany for decades beginning in 1956, producing 15 porcelain tableware services and over 200 different objects. With its incised lines and raised half circles, this vase's design is most often referred to as Pearl Drops, though to me it looks more like stylized sheaths of wheat.
