After graduating from the Kolding College of Danish Art and Design, Pia Langelund joined Royal Copenhagen in 1991 where she made her mark as a talented sculptor of the strength and movement of the body in both animals and humans.
At Royal Copenhagen, she sculpted a set of twelve male Zodiac figures that were produced in bisque porcelain. The seated Leo wears a crown - a reflection of his natural charisma and desire for attention.
