Nils Thorsson’s exacting approach to surface design can be seen in the highly detailed and complex relief pattern on this vase from the BACA series for Royal Copenhagen where he was Artistic Director. The same gothic, spiky [my words] design can be seen on other objects and in different colors, but this object is unusual for its scarce fawn color.
