From Medicom Toy comes this Keith Haring Vinyl Collectible Doll (No. 272). Sculpted by Motor Ken, this 9.4” figure depicts Keith wearing a white T-shirt printed with his famous “Radiant Baby,” and blue jeans designed after a patched-up pair he once wore. His round silver glasses and '80s sneakers complete his look.
Keith Haring (May 4, 1958 – February 16, 1990) was an American artist whose pop art emerged from the New York City grafitti subculture of the 1980s. His popularity grew from his spontaneous drawings in the subway – chalk outlines of figures, dogs, and other stylized images on blank black advertising spaces. He went on to develop a studio practice opening the Pop Shop in 1986 as an extension of his work.
