The Artist Plate Project saw 50 artists contribute designs to raise money for The Coalition for the Homeless in 2020 with each plate being produced in an edition of 175.
Basketballs, ceramics, and lush plants fill Jonas Wood’s paintings, drawings, and prints, which mostly comprise intricate still lifes and interior domestic scenes. Throughout his compositions, the artist draws from art history, memory, and the people, objects, and interiors that compose the fabric of his life. Wood’s plate design – a still life line drawing – is called Fruit Plate, 2020.
