After working with Gio Ponti, Cetti Serbelloni, Bruno Munari and other masters of Italian Design, Giuliano Malimpensa established Mesa near Lake Como in Italy in 1980 with the goal of merging contemporary design with the tradition of Italian Silversmithing. This ladle’s descending wavy handle becomes a tail upon which its bowl balances.
