One of the Halstonettes in 1970s New York, Elsa Peretti began making jewelry for a handful of fashion designers including Halston and Giorgio di Sant’ Angelo. Peretti signed a contract with Tiffany & Co. in 1974 and continued to be a featured designer until her death in 2021. Her pieces incorporate organic forms, have an appreciation of the human body, and bridge the gap between costume and serious jewelry. Along with jewelry, Peretti created many tabletop items for Tiffany. This gracefully curved orchid pot and its cream colored twin have drainage holes and feet and matching saucers. Out of production and much coveted.
