Don Porcaro’s substantial vessels [each 30lbs plus] are beautiful objects that are tabletop-sized expressions of his larger body of work. Created one at a time by the artist, each is completely unique, emotionally resonant, and of lasting value.
Porcaro is NYC-based sculptor whose work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and has been reviewed in The New York Times, Sculpture Magazine, Art in America, Artnews, BOMB, and Newsday among others. He recently retired from the Fine Arts faculty of The New School | Parsons after forty-two years.
