Brazilian designers Fernando and Humberto Campanas’ 2004 Blow Up furniture and tableware designs for Alessi were produced in stainless steel but not until being prototyped in bamboo. In 2010, Alessi introduced a new production version in bamboo that not only emphasized natural materials and manual skills, but also winked at the Campanas’ and Alessi’s modus operandi.
