Brazilian designers Fernando [1961-2022] and Humberto [b. 1953] Campanas’ 2004 Blow Up furniture and tableware designs for Alessi were produced in stainless steel but not until being prototyped in bamboo. In 2010, Alessi introduced a new production version in bamboo that not only emphasized natural materials and manual skills, but also winked at the Campanas’ and Alessi’s modus operandi. Out of production.
