Bode Willumsen [1895-1987] was a Danish sculptor, painter, and ceramicist. He established his own ceramic studio in the 1930s, but when the war limited materials he went to work for Royal Copenhagen. This lobed form vase with dragon or chameleon handles was produced in a variety of more rustic glazes than this smooth celadon version.
